Early Childhood Services

 

  • Our professional development opportunities address the 9 NYS Office of Children & Family Services topic areas.  We offer single topic workshops; series training, distance/online courses, Child Development Associate (CDA) preparation courses, bilingual trainings, and on-site staff development services. 
  • Technical assistance is available to assist programs in room arrangements, material selection and establishing new programs or expanding existing programs.  
  • Professional development planning and early childhood career counseling are also available.
  • The Child & Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) provides informal, family and group family child care providers with partial reimbursement for healthy meals and snacks they serve to children in their care as well as valuable information on nutrition, developing healthy eating habits in young children, assistance in meal planning and health and nutrition training.
