Opening A Child Care Program

Working with young children in child care settings is a very exciting and rewarding profession.  As more women with young children join the workforce each year, the demand for safe, healthy, high-quality, affordable child care increases.  Opening a child care program, whether in your home or a child care center, requires lots of planning and commitment.

Please call our Early Childhood Services department to discuss your interest in becoming a child care provider.  We are here to help you take your first steps!

The New York State Office of Children & Family Services (NYS OCFS) regulates child care programs in New York State (child care programs in New York City are regulated by the NYS Department of Health).
